Over the course of three years, I have had weekly German lessons with Andrea, and he has been the driving force behind my progress from a beginner A1–A2 level to a proficient C1–C2 level. In each lesson we start by looking at what already feels comfortable in German and what still feels confusing. According to your goals, lessons mix explanations with guided practice and plenty of chances to use the language.
You receive honest, encouraging feedback and, when helpful, a small amount of work to complete between sessions. Your progress is regularly reviewed.

Lessons take place online via Zoom. I’m based in Edinburgh and teach learners throughout the UK and internationally.

Homework is optional and tailored to your available time. When used, it is reviewed carefully so that it contributes directly to progress.
Lessons start at £45 for a 60-minute session. Each lesson includes personalised one-to-one tuition, carefully prepared materials, targeted practice, and clear feedback tailored to your goals.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please give at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible. This helps me manage the timetable fairly and offer the slot to another learner.
Payment is preferably made once a month, in advance, for the lessons scheduled during the following month. Payment is by bank transfer, and I will confirm the amount and payment details in advance. For greater scheduling flexibility, you can also book a block of 5 or 10 lessons to use over an agreed period.
